VI Contribution

On this project Vasquez Integrators supported the project's new SCADA IP network backbone, Daktronics lane control systems, and an expanded CCTV and access control security system at the Bronx-Whitestone location. VI engineers designed the network backbone for the newly upgraded SCADA systems and supplied hardware, performed installation, and provided device configurations. The VI team performed site surveys and existing fiber infrastructure testing/analysis to eliminate poor quality fiber and identify the most reliable communication pathways for the new network backbone. Vasquez Integrators developed the new communication network in parallel to the existing live network, allowing for a seamless cutover of the existing system with minimal service interruptions to MTA operations.
